Tomato and Onion-Free Chili

Chili con Carne (tomato and onion free!)


1 lb ground beef

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili powder

3/4 teaspoon cumin

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 jar roasted red peppers

1 1/2 cups or 1 15ish ounce can beans of your choice


Brown ground beef and garlic over medium high heat. Add spices and peppers, bring to a boil. After it comes to a boil reduce heat to simmer. For me that’s about medium heat. Cover and cook for 1 hr, stirring occasionally. After the hour is up, add beans and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
