When you or your child is diagnosed with food allergies, one of the first questions to come up is “Okay, now what do I eat?” There are tons of recipes online that we can utilize, the only problem is they are scattered ALL over the place. Here are a few that I want to try or have tried and enjoyed very much:
- This recipe for Frijoles Rancheros at Simple Bites looks amazing! It will most definitely be tried in the next couple of weeks.
- My kids and I tried Joy’s Kale Spinach and Pear Smoothie and loved it! Will definitely add this to my repertoire! I used strawberries yesterday and orange today to sub for the pear and both turned out delicious.
- I plan to try this Granola Recipe from Home-Ec101 as well with a few modifications to suit our needs.
This is a website that I came upon early in our food allergy diagnosis. The free recipes and forums are a wonderful resource for support.
I also have to mention the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network or FAAN. There is tons of information to help you manage living with food allergies.
